They have a new 1 milliwatt transceiver that fits in your ear like entertainers wear on TV and concert shows. At 1 milliwatt the brain does not get damaged, compared to 2 KW radiation from an antenna directly over the shack. Proven fact! Hi

Also, it will do automatic logging for you but can not do FT8/FT4, since no software connection devices possible and no screens. So you can’t go to sleep and work ‘em, gotta use a key or the built in mike for QSOs. Remote CW keyer is only $500, the size of a quarter. You plug it in the opposite ear and tap on it to send Morse code. Check it out!

A lesson I knew too, too well…either do something with the XYL or do ham radio…got back from dinner late trying to make it  good evening for her….hurried to get the antenna up and then grabbed the KX3 and DROPPED IT ON THE TILE FLOOR…GOOD BYE KX3!  It comes on but does not hear or tune to the antenna…that’s it, good bye!

I will be QRP later on 40 cw at  or ~ 7030.  Will have a better antenna this evening…trap dipole for 40/20.  YES, I was QRP from ZF1EJ with monster LPDA at 90’ – 5 watts gave me 5 DXCC countries in an hour operating…hope to C U later…
