   He is lessening the pileup by using call areas, thereby limiting it to 10% calling and not 100%. HI 
   It is either that or using up a lot of 7mc SSB bandwidth and having nets and those in QSOs “up the band” getting interfered with by those calling the DX.. Then they get hacked off and do the DQRM on his frequency which is fairly clear now..
  He is coming up on 5s in a few minutes. On #3s now. GL.

Signal is great here too, San, but he’s a DUD operator.  

He’s listening up alright, but he’s only listening on ONE FREQUENCY…..he’s not spreading-out the pileup, thus making it practically impossible for us here in the middle of the country to get through to him past the ‘eastern iron curtain’.

Oh well………………
