[ADXA] Europe Only!

I'm sitting here relaxing a bit after lunch listening to VP6D on 20 
meter SSB. I always find it interesting when the DX station calls for a 
specific area that folks outside that target area keep calling. For 
example, Europe is a tough path from Ducie so when there is a hint of 
propagation, or the DX hears a station calling from a tough path area, 
they will usually call for that area only. Such was the case a few 
moments ago when VP6D called for "Europe Only!" and several USA stations 
just kept calling and calling and calling. So much to the point that 
VP6D issued a warning "If you keep calling out of the area I'm asking 
for I will NOT come back to you". In other words, your call may get 
blacklisted if you disobey!

The good news is I did not hear any ADXA members calling at this time.

DX pileups are fierce and very competitive, especially when the DX is in 
a very rare location. As a proud ADXA member you need to get in those 
pileups with a growl and teeth showing, but only when following the DX 
stations instructions on when to call. Good operating practice has been 
a key element to proud history ADXA members. That is why we have held a 
great reputation among the DX community for 51 years.

So this is just a reminder, especially to some of our newer members who 
are still working toward their first DXCC, or working on that second 
"100" or DXCC on a specific band or mode. Get in those pileups, growl, 
show some teeth but always display good operating practice and obey the 
DX stations instructions.

Now with that said, I know some of you need Ducie.....GET ON THE AIR AND 
GROWL!!!
