[ADXA] EP - Iran

OK, I know some of you, maybe a lot of you, need EP - Iran either as an 
all time new one or a new on on a band or mode.

Bernie, W3UR reports in The Weekly DX that a group of Russian radio 
amateurs will activate Shif Island November 17-23. It has taken some 
time to obtain the license and all of the operating permission however 
that is now all in hand and ready. They plan 160 through 10 meters CW, 
SSB and especially for you FT8 lizards they will be active there as 
well. :-)

The callsign will be EP6RRC. Their website it at

This is one that has gone dormant for years. We were very lucky to have 
the EP6T DXPedition there in 2015 and it was a pleasant surprise to 
learn of this operation. Given the political environment in that region 
future amateur radio operation in EP is uncertain.

I am fortunate to have Iran on 80 through 10 meters. I need them on 160 
so I will be glued to the radio from our sunset until their sunrise in 
Iran each night gunning for them on top band.
