What a difference a week makes in Arkansas!!! Last Weekend we had severe 
storms and tornadoes and this week we have 1/4" to 1/2" of ice on 
everything due to the freezing rain here in north Arkansas. My antennas 
do not look good this morning and I had a second hand report that EJ is 
experiencing the same just up the road a bit from me. Not good but 
hopefully they will all survive!

I had an out of state business meeting this past week that required my 
attention so I have not yet had an opportunity to follow up with 
everyone regarding our conference. I can't tell you how thankful I am to 
everyone who was able to attend. We had a great time and I thoroughly 
enjoyed Friday and Saturday. The feedback has been extremely positive.

I want to thank Frank, W3LPL and Bernie, W3UR for coming in as our 
guests. Also to Bill, K5FUV for presenting. It was really great to have 
our northwest Arkansas folks make the long drive down and attend. THANK 
YOU.

The support we receive from ARRL is outstanding. To have the ARRL 
President, Division Director and two Section Managers attend is amazing. 
Our Vice Director, Ed WB4RHQ was on his way and had vehicle trouble in 
Memphis, otherwise he would have been with us again this year.

I rely a lot on our Arkansas Section Manager J, N5LKE, and I appreciate 
his support.

More to come, just starting to catch up this morning after being out all 
week.
