[ADXA] ADXA 50th Anniversary Convention

As Pat noted in an earlier email, we have been working hard to finalize
all of the arrangements for our 50th Anniversary Convention in North
Little Rock December 2. Here are some details we want to make you aware of
now before we publicize them outside the ADXA membership.

This will be a day event that will run from 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM with a
noon luncheon. The hotel has two big events Saturday evening so we have to
conclude at 3:00 PM. I personally like this arrangement as it will allow
our out of town guests the opportunity to head back home late Saturday
afternoon if they so desire.

There will be a fee. This is not firm just yet but will most likely be $30
and will include the lunch that will offer two entrées.

As we have some very high profile speakers who will be with us we are
planning for a group of 75 to 100 to attend. In order to accommodate ADXA
members first we will offer advance registration for you. There will be a
cut off for registration and we will not offer registrations at the door.
This is to accommodate planning and providing a final number for the lunch
by the hotel deadline.

We have a small block of rooms that will be available for those out of
town/state who may want to stay over.

Please plan to attend. This is a very special opportunity to meet and
spend the day with some very high profile folks in the world of DX and
amateur radio and we will be one of the last, if not the last, DX groups
to hear from K4UEE before he departs for Bouvet Island.
