Here is a DX update:
VK9CZ on Cocos Keeling has now gone QRT. They had a very nice signal on 80
meters long path last night at our sunset.
VK9MA on Mellish Reef is still very active. https://vk9ma.com/
Signals this morning were very good on 30 and 40 meters. They have
multiple stations on several bands so if you do not have this one in your
log you need to evaluate your station or operator situation! :-))
3C1L in Equatorial Guinea is still very active until the morning of
November 12 their time, the evening of Nov 11 here.

They had excellent signals on 160 and 80 meters last night. They have also
been very active on RTTY the past two days on 17 and 30 meters with very
nice signals.
9U4M in Burundi is just firing up. http://www.mdxc.org/9u4m/
This group will be active until November 17. They only have two stations
on at the moment but expect to have the rest of their equipment cleared
through customs today and set up the remaining stations. This is an all
band effort. The last big DX operation from 9U was in 2010.
I like listening to pile ups and always enjoy hearing ADXA folks in there
banging it out. If I haven't heard your call in a pile up recently, why
not????
Registration for our 50th Anniversary Convention should go live today if
all goes as planned. Please standby for a formal announcement.
