Joel:
Excellent Joel and congrats to you, Pat and the ADXA officers for getting
things going again!! Proud to be an Honorary Member and will try to
participate more, now that we have a new, viable approach to involving all
DXers in Arkansas and other states like in the old days. I am excited about
2017 and seeing more of the ADXA members at different venues you all have
set up. The new website looks fantastic and with good, useful links and is
spiffy like other sites that are looked at concerning DXing events, news and
DXpeditions, etc.

I do note that the individual band/countries chart shows 340 as top but it's
339 with deletion of Kingman Reef, so a slight tweak there. hi hi A shame
that P5 can not get on the air legally with a good effort so that at least a
few of us can get to the Top of the HR on CW. No ADXA member on the ARRL
DXCC annual listings has them all on CW, but a few of us have been off by
just one for many years. Thank God for the SSB effort years ago that allows
a few of us to be at the top on Mixed and Phone. LOL Lets hope P5 gets its
government together, and then organizations and DX Clubs and Foundations
will donate to a worthy DXpedition going there. Lot of recent flack recently
about that very issue.

Thanks again to the ADXA officers for uniting for the website effort and the
work of Pat in getting it to fruition. Only thing I have on my PC is a white
notification box at the bottom asking if I want to run "all content" on
"this page" each time I pull up any link. Have to check the OK box or "x
out" each time. Guess the new site needs to be recognized as "safe and
valid" URL. Time will heal that too. hi
73,
San

Subject: [ADXA] New ADXA Website is LIVE !!!!!!!!!!!

The new ADXA website is now live and very active!!!!! It is located at the
same url, adxa.org, as the retired site but now residing with a new host,
qth.com

I want to thank Pat, W5VY for his considerable hard work in getting the
website updated and revised. He has done an outstanding job moving
ADXA.org into 2017! This also would not have been possible without the
outstanding help, assistance and support from Scott, KA9FOX at qth.com,
our new host for the website. Scott prepared the new template for us and
also setup the PayPal system on our website in order for us to receive
membership applications and dues payments from new and renewing members by
PayPal, credit or debit cards while retaining the option to mail a check
or money order as well.

Last weekend Pat, Glenn and I worked with Scott, KA9FOX to finalize the
PayPal system and ran a renewal to ensure the system was working.
Yesterday Scott "turned the keys" over to us and Pat and I made a few
tweaks prior to turning onto the highway and hitting the gas!

Now, please understand as I have noted before, the website is new and is
still undergoing some tweaks and revisions, plus a website is a living
thing and will continue to grow and be revised to reflect ADXA. If you
have any constructive comments please let me and Pat know. There are a few
pages we have not yet "turned on" in order to continue to refine the
contents. There are also some additions to existing pages that we are
working on as well. We are going to take this SLOW for a while and let
things settle in although I believe you will agree we are light years
ahead of where we were just last week.

Thanks to everyone for your patience throughout the past year while this
effort progressed

73 Joel W5ZN
