Frank, W5BPT (Since 1953!) provided updated Stats. Frank has been
adding band counters pretty much across the board. He has some great
numbers on the WARC bands. He is also closing in on the 2500 level of
the Desoto Challenge. Frank also probably holds the record for ADXA on
the length of time holding a call. Can't think of any others who can
match 62 years. Congrats Frank.

I've added a few new ones and band mode numbers. I struck out on EP6T.
There is a reason most DXers have a tower. I've done OK using my "no
aluminium" approach with a Hex Beam hanging from a tree limb but for
want of a few more db of antenna gain and a little lower take off angle,
I've missed the three activation's of VK9X in the past year and now the
EP6T effort. The path to EP is uphill into dirt and trees from my QTH.
I heard them pretty strong on 20M SSB LP one morning but couldn't crack
the pile-up. They were a few openings on the SP but they were S1 at
best. The jammers and COPS achieved a new low with EP6T. We need a
supply of "smart" RF seeking missiles (like the Wild Weasels use)

K1N should be firing up in the next few days. We should enjoy loud
signals from them on all bands. I'm even hopeful that a 6M path might
materialize while they are there.

Hope 2015 is treating everyone right.

73 es DX,
Pat, W5VY
