[ADXA] K9IW a Silent Key

It is with profound regret that I share that Bill Harper, K9IW has become a
silent Key.

 

Bill held several offices as a member of ADXA.  


Bill's primary interest was DX. Before retiring and moving to Arkansas in
January of 1996, he lived north of Chicago and was a member of the Northern
Illinois DX Association. He achieved top of honor roll for both phone and CW
DXCC. He held 5BDXCC and had many CQDX awards including several single band
WAZ's.

 

As a member of the NIDXA, he held several offices and was the letter "C"
manager for the ninth area incoming QSL bureau for about 15 years.

After moving to Arkansas, he was somewhat inactive for several years and
several countries were added to the list. In 2003, he put up a Mosley
PRO-57-B.  He "just" needed P5 to have them all again.

 

Bill will be missed by his friends and certainly by his ADXA friends.
