[ADXA] Last Man Standing

"Last Man Standing" is a new ABC comedy starring Tim Allen.
The show is on at 7 p.m. Central Time on Tuesday evenings.
 
The rumor has been that since the shows Producer is a 'ham radio operator' that
future shows will include Amateur Radio as part of the story plot. Well the ground
work for that started with last night's first show for 2012.
 
In the show, Tim works in a large outdoor sporting goods store. In last night's
episode several of the scenes were shot in Tim's office at the sporting goods
store. Clearly visible in the background is a complete amateur radio station
set up on a desk. The rig appears to be an ICOM complete with microphone
and QSL cards hanging on the wall. The station was used several times in the
background of different shots. However, at least in this episode, I did not hear
any reference made to ham radio directly . . . but the ground work is clearly
being laid for future episodes.
 
So program those DVRs for future episodes!
