Hello All,

September 10&  11, the ARKAN Radio Club is sponsoring the Arkansas QSO
Party.  Details on the ARKAN Radio Club Website, just Google ARKAN
Radio Club and click on the ARKAN Home Page.  Also, Brian, W5AMI, has
put on the Arkansas ARRL Section Website,www.ararrl.org  information on
the Arkansas QSO Party.

Scott, KD5KZU has sent information to the National Contest Journals,
Ham Radio Contest Websites, QST, CQ, etc.

With that much publicity nationally, contesters from around the country
will be looking for Arkansas stations on the QSO Party dates, September
10-11.  If we don't have a good turn out of Arkansas Hams, it will be a
black eye on Arkansas Amateur Radio.  Don Banta K5DB, is heading up the
score tabulations, certificate mailings and revamped the Party Rules.
This Party is good for Ham Radio, Good for Arkansas Amateur Radio,
ONLY, if you do your part by showing up and working the Party.  If you
don't you are letting Amateur Radio down but more importantly you are
letting Arkansas Amateur Radio down.  Please do your part on September
10 and 11:  WORK THE ARKANSAS QSO PARTY AS MUCH AS YOU CAN !!!!
