Very sad to report a good friend of mine has passed away June 4th. Don was
the first ham I met in person in Tehran in 1969. Since I was a bachelor at
the time, he and his wonderful family practically adopted me. He was quite
active as EP2DA in the late 60's and early 70's. He was also active in
some other overseas places but not as active while in Tehran. He and his
wife Pat retired to Boone NC a number of years ago and I visited them a
couple of times in my travels. RIP My Friend,
