The W5DXCC 2006 and Ham Com 2006  DX dinner is now a sell-out with the
final tickets being sold a short time ago. 

However, don't fret at missing a super-DX program and lots of great door
prizes.  The Lone Star DX Association and Ham Com have negotiated with
the Southfork Hotel to add a few additional seats for the dinner, but we
cannot guarantee how long even these additional tickets will remain, so
go to the Ham Com web site at http://www.hamcom.org  and order your
tickets NOW!  Tickets are $35.00 each. The DX dinner will be at 6:30
p.m. Friday, June 9 at the Southfork Hotel June 9.  Tickets WILL NOT be
sold at the dinner.

This year's featured speaker and program at the dinner event will be Bob
Allphin, K4UEE and the amazing 3Y0X DXpedition to Peter I  Island. Come
hear this world-class DXer and accomplished speaker  tell the 3Y0X
story. The most expensive DXpedition in history that  resulted in 86,891
QSOs will be a fascinating story and one every   DXer will want to hear.

The DX dinner menu will be a TexMex fare featuring grilled breast of
Emperor Penguin on a mirror of Antarctic chili sauce. Served with two
walrus tusk enchiladas and Arctic Krill rice with Orca onion sour cream,
refried Sea Stars and Blue Whale de Gallo topped with tri-colored Arctic
Tern strips.

Following the dinner, the Lone Star DX Association and the North Texas
Contest Club will host the ever popular DX/Contest
hospitality suite for a time of fellowship and renewing old friendships.
