wow what a place this would be for a serio
The reason it is so good is it is easy dis day on 20 meters to US....Japan....or Australia.&nb and Japan are on a different continent from me (O get the max points 3. To compare that if you are in a location in the Caribbean...US is only worth 1 point each and Jap (most hams) is not an easy haul. . I also experimented with 40 met ers and got 20 over S9 reports from USA using a G5RV. I also made
sev a desire
I already have some ideas for next year.&n replacing the TH7DXX with a new TH11DXX. Then addin element 40 meter beam. Then maybe a large 80 meter loop poi the ocean front toward stateside. The good thing is I have t here already. They are in a storage container. CQ also imp a new class for 2 transmitter multi op stations. I have the equipment here for that and I think it would be easy to set the

I hammed a lot this weekend.... hours at the ham shack. I sp pouncing and occasionally call moderate contesting late....manly because on 15 meters and worked 509 stations I was by myself and a bit rusty with V73 really boosts the ego, too. I had g of the contest to compliment me on the operatio things to gain some good will. I had to resort zones or numbers and PJ2E called while I was asking for 7 him that I was working 7s and DX would be in a few minutes. argued and I told him that his contact to me was no more importan than the 7's that were waiting and he was wasting his valuable
contesting I was not l the statesid
Anyway...not a serious contesting effort b same. I worked 1100+ contacts on 80, 40, 20, (800+) + 18 KH6s, 9 KL7s, 4 KH2s, and 3 KH0s.&nbs of Europe and all the Japan I wanted...HIHI. I was disaapointed that I did not hear much Africa and Middle East, but am sure that would be there if I had stayed more time. Total DX ent ities worked were 75.
So anybody interested in a 10 day stay at know.
