Hi All: 
 
Regarding Lenny's recent message he forwarded about H. Res. 230, I sent out
a similar message asking for everyone to write Washington back in late
April. A copy of that message and link to a sample letter is below. 
 
This got me to wondering if each of the ADXA members is signed up to receive
ARRL State/Division email announcements, and whether you received my
previous email about this matter. As ARRL members, you can receive
announcements by email. To sign up, go to the ARRL web site and click on the
"Member Data Page" under the "Members Only" section icon at the top of the
home page. Then go down to the "Email notification options" and you can
modify your data to sign up for email notices.

Hi All:

Rep. Michael Ross here in Arkansas has introduced an important House
Resolution in Washington to help our BPL fight. Please see the link
below to the ARRL web page for information.

It also includes a link to a sample letter to send your
Representatives. Note there is a variant in the letter for certain
states where low-band VHF is in widespread use by public safety
agencies. In our area, that would include Mississippi and Tennessee. 

Rep. Ross went to bat for us on this and we need to support his
efforts. Please write your Representatives and let's get some
cosponsors! Also, seek support from your contacts in the public safety
communications community for their endorsement of the Resolution.
