[ADXA] Ad-hoc Thinking Group

For those that might be interested.... I would like to put together a group
to brain storm (via e-mail) the best set up for a transportable DXpedition
station.

This would involve some mental work... like reading equipment reviews,
dxpedition articles, etc. to find out what's interesting. So if you just
want to submit an opinion.... this is not it!

This is for a one-man operation. It's not a problem to come up with
equipment for six guys and unlimited time and funds to take equipment. This
is to travel with a limited budget and be able to operate using limited
weight/size equipment.

So.... the areas of interest would be :

1. Transceiver
2. Amp ? - 2-400 watts
3. Power supply
4. Coax
5. Antenna
6. Key

Hopefully, some of you would like to be involved in this project.

I am starting from scratch with a view of finding the best equipment -
possibly buying the same and testing it. Someone with test equipment would
also be nice.

Bottom line - Size/weight/transportability/cost
What can we come up with????
