Just about to leave to find a mailbox capable of taking 3000 envelopes...I've
mailed nearly 5000 envelopes when done since last Friday....and figured it was
about time to update status.

I am still mailing BQ9P/YA5T/PW0T cards...but am closing in on all cards
received before August 1. I believe I will be current with cards received by
September 1 for these stations by the end of October or the first week of November.

I just received some of the September YA5T logs, and will begin working those
in shortly.

I'm a bit further behind on some of the other stations I manage, as the volume
is not as great, and thus I've been batching them to make the operation more
efficient. These will be 'back to normal' by end of October I suspect.

Emails asking whether I have your card is not particularly useful, as I have no
way of knowing if I have your envelope till I work your card, and then it's
only a few days before you have the answer.

Folks that have included more than one station in their envelope: I'm working
your cards as best I can, but each additional call adds a delay to your response.

If you've sent a card, until I say I'm done, I would request you not resubmit.
The mail is generally pretty safe, and if I have your card, you will get your
qsl in return, if you have provided SASE, etc. A second submission adds to the
work load, and I'd prefer you not do that. It certainly will NOT speed a card
back to you.

Email questions to [email protected], but again, don't ask if I have your
envelope....I cannot tell. Also, I'm not done, so if you have not gotten your
card, and you read this, then you know that the cards are still going out, so
no need to ask that question via email.

I've just opened my 27,000'th envelope this year.....and the incoming is down
to less than 100 a day.....so...back to the pile!
