Gentlemen,
Dear Ham friends,

It is my pleasure to announce the upcoming Dxpedition to Temotu province,
H40
March 28 - April 12, 2002.

Due to a large world-wide demand for Amateur radio activity from Temotu,
the objective of this expedition is to put H40 into as many stations
logbooks
as possible, with particular attention to low bands and WARC operating CW
and RTTY,
and areas of the world with difficult propagation paths.

As an experienced CW and low band operator, I am well aware that this would
be only possible by securing the adequate equipment - radios, amplifiers and
antennas as well as "man power" - competent and motivated operators.
Therefore preparations for a team of 3 operators equipped with two complete
line of radio stations and backup gear are well ahead.

To achieve this goal, I will also need your help and support.

Transport and shipping charges, import duties, insurance and other
associated cost
are high and any assistance your Organization can offer, no matter how
modest will be greatly appreciated.

Success of this particular DXpedition and ham radio in general depends upon
Organization like yours to "make things happen". I strongly believe that
your members will also appreciate your involvement and association with this
fine operation.
In return, I will make every effort to acknowledge all donations in printed
and electronic media. (In the unlikely event that we must cancel this
DXpedition, you will receive a refund of your entire donation.)

Thank you for your time and consideration. Your prompt attention and
notification would be greatly appreciated.

I'm looking forward to hear you in the H40 pile-up!

73, Nick Hacko VK1AA
