Well Bob, I again plan to have a trunk sale at the hamfest again this year.  I firmly believe it is the trunk sales that bring hams to the swap.  Anyway we can incourage trunk sales, no matter what size or amount of gear present, it is in my opinion what keeps them coming back, year after year.  Rich K8UV

The AARC hamfest is right around the corner (September 19, 2010).  As I am
the hamfest chair for the year I am looking for assistance with this years
hamfest.  If you have time and would like to help with the hamfest, please
send me an e-mail and let me know what you like to do.
 
It has been a number of years since I had last chaired the hamfest, however,
I have pulled out the old KG8CO hamfest marketing playbook and going through
it step by step.
 
If anyone has any suggestions on how to make our hamfest better, I would be
interested in your comments.
 
I feel we will have another successful hamfest this year.
