IMHO Art, unless they're going to be above 50 feet it won't really matter.
Above a quarter wavelength they'll show directivity broadside to the
direction you run them. If you are worried a bit then run them broadside
east and west. Sounds like you're really getting ready, excellent!
While I have you here, is there any chance I can show off your Canadian
rotor to my good friend Jeff N8CC? He is thinking about buying several of
them but has never seen them and would like to examine one. He's coming
down Saturday morning and will be here for the contest. Perhaps if you're
out and about here in Adrian we could meet somewhere or you're most welcome
to come over here. I can return it Sunday afternoon or Monday after work
if that would be ok?
