Ah !!

Looking at various links, I get the impression that Jacars can also work 
with Kinetics' SBS-1 or AirNav's Radarbox so it might not have been on 
ACARS at all.

I think I'll stick to my PlanePlotter and a Yupiteru 7100. Guaranteed 100% 
jungle-fresh VHF ACARS only :))
