[ACARS] REQ:-Maxjet N250MY /B767 OR IS IT???

Hi All
Wonder if someone has the answer to this little teaser

maxjet have been flying here to stansted for a while now
aircraft first arrived with what was clearly a sticker
for the registration

N770WD

Now these stickers eventually went
to reveal

N250MY

ok fine

but a current check on FAA website shows
N770WD still current with N250MY reserved since
23/2/06

a check of N250MY says this reg reserved on same date

oh really

then lets have a look at these pictures taken in October 05

now that doesnt look like a white sticker with N770WD on it to me
but it does look like N250MY painted on the aircraft
and on there 5 months before the registration was reserved !!!!!

A visual check by me earlier in the week showed it had
N250MY on both sides so not a case one stickler being blown off

so what really gives with this aircraft
is it flying in and out of the states with a false registration or not ???
