[ACARS] Hello from Cape Town!

Hello the ACARS List,

After 14 years of HF Ute signals decoding and reporting, I am entering the
ACARS  decoding area but with absolute nil sucess, and hope for sympathy and
friendly directions  for a partially sighted and nearly 80 yrs past
shelf-life old codger.

Downloaded WACARS; doesn't work although systems seem correct.

Downloaded Airnav Systems ACARS 2.1; downloaded and registered over a month
ago, but does not work! Keeps telling me my Registrarion is Invalid and I
keep typing in the requisite registration codes. Does not connect with
Internet and keeps telling me I am on the Demo Version. How frustrating can
you get? Have paid for the full version!!

I get lotsa ACARS on 131.725 from Cape Town International but nothing
interesting or useful from either Wacars or ACARS. Do I now need a Log
Analyser?

My PCHD does work OK, mainly on 8834.0 USB, but nothing of interest seems to
work through to Airnav Suite4 other than position reports, which are in any
case shown in the PCHDL owlog file!! How boring!

Why then does anyone bother to go for Airnav Systems?? I have spent lotsa
dollars and got no answers!!!
