[ACARS] AN2.1 Question Repeated

I posted a question recently about an apparent default position of my Airnav
Decoder 2.1; when selected it aways tried to contact Internet for 3+ minutes
before functioning normally. Got no replies.
So pose question another way; several colleagues are using the same AN2.1
that I have installed; are they all suffering the same 3 minute Internet
Connection delay before allowing normal operation? Can someone reply please?
