[ACARS] AN2 Question?

My Airnav ACARS Decoder2.1. always opens with a Dial-Up Connection Box whch
freezes the program and will not be cancelled or moved until after approx 3
minutes, when up comes a box explaining "Unable update Internet Connection
List". It's AOK after that.
This delay each time AN2 is  selected is  infuriating as I have no desire to
connect to the net! Can any kind colleague suggest how one can defeat this
wretched auto system that directs AN2 to first connect with the net without
being asked? BTW - this does not happen with AN1.
