Hi
I will try for you
there are currently loads of complaints on the short wave lists
of lack of activity, this is being caused by the aurora
the upside is the VHF signals will be greatly enhanced
commonly known as lift by the ham radio guys
vhf signals will fly much further on the ground wave
Having said that yours is a real jump
you may well find that if you tune your vfh home radio
you may here stations you havent heard before also
another is if your scanner covers it
listen to 145.200 FM
you will hear the ham guys looking for long distance contacts
the uk guys will be talking well into germany
with the correct antenna when the ground wave is really getting
lifted
You could also try brussels approach and copenhagen app.
never know what you might hear and also EDDL and EDDK
cheers for now
Goodday All,
As far as I can see I never saw this in my "ACARS-life" before:
