Hi Again

OK this sadly does not work it does with some but not all

first these BAW are mostly from HI messages
when the aircraft system reverts to other message id's
you get BA????

here's the effect of putting change BAW to BA0 into acarsd
translation table

G-BNLA B747-436 0501 20040626 BA0028 (VHHH-EGLL)
G-DOCE B737-436 1147 20040626 BA0028 (VHHH-EGLL)
G-DOCS B737-436 0918 20040626 BA0032 (VHHH-EGLL)
G-CIVN B747-436 0545 20040626 BA0032 (VHHH-EGLL)

BA don't use 737-400's on the long haul
the acars terminal in the aircraft only handles 6 digits

BA European flight are like 0441

maybe from EGLL
but all Gatwick flights are BA2???

so you will see BAW227 instead of BA2271

I have been having this for about 3 months now
the only way out here is to enter these flights into the acarsd CSV
translation table
for instance

change BAW224 to BA224?

in other words change it to the correct flight number assuming you are
ware what it is I am getting them slowly from within the acars message
area

also you may not have these yet
but BA has a very large alpha numeric system which is now starting to
come into play

I have had 8 here today so far

not sure about ANAD 2 but ANAD 1 and AN4 wont handle
alpha numeric
the programme wont enter the flight number in the flight list grid
just leaves it blank in AN4

puts it in left window OK but that window does not do flight routes
translations

cheers for now
