you can use your old skyspy and airmaster systems also with the latest 
version of acarsd  either as well as or instead of your sound carsd
unless you have XP then i am afraid it wont run

there is a small add on programme on the site called ACARSDS
along with a set of instructions on running acarsd this way

i have had this running for several days and it works fine
