[ACARS] Alpha numeric call signs[usa]

Hi Keith,

In Europe DLH, FIN and Wizz are doing so principally in Acars messages. Some
flights of AUA and BMI as well. The intentions of AFR are not clear to me
until this time. Other (big) carriers like BAW, KLM, SAB, EIN, SAS, IBE, and
all Americans and Canadians are sending the "normal" flightid with their
Acars messages until sofar.
I have the impression that BAW is making some experiments with using the
alpha numeric system in their Acars messages; they are using the system in
much of their voice communication since a long time. If you mean "voice
communication: I agree; If you mean Acars: I do not see a "europe is full
off them!!" in the present period.

However: I have the impression that the phenomenon of the alpha numeric
system will be increase in Europe in the future time.
