Help with AirNav products...

Okay - AirNav ACARS Decoder 2.1 works well - to a point.  Impressive!  
Now that it works - 98 percent.  The 2.1 installer really messed with 
the 2.0 support files and such in Win98SE.  It took me some time to get 
a clean installation.  However, it now works reasonably well.  Love the 
pictures.  But it will crash - non-recoverable - at just above 1024 
messages. Just as did version 2.0.  I guess I should really check that 
box in the Preferences / Auto Clean / Automatically Clean Grids.  
Strange how they chose a default of 500 Log Entries.  ;o)  Yes, I have 
more than enough RAM and HD Space.

Questions: Hopefully someone on the list can help!  As the email 
support from AirNav has been truly worthless.

1. How does one go about setting up and AirNav ACARS Decoder Server, in 
order to contribute?  Detailed information please!  Off list!

2. Why is the Edit Wacars WDF Files / aircraft.wdf file blank/empty now 
in version 2.1.  AirNav Support refuses to answer this question.  :o)  
Ignores my question!  Funny - I am getting aircraft type and company 
information - from the internet obviously.

3. I have installed AirNav Suite 4.  Latest release.  Still the 
Tutorials never work.  The application seems terribly flawed.  It 
works, sort of, maybe, but fails often.  Certainly will not run 24 
hours, 7 days a week.  Short application run times only.  And before 
you ask - yes, I have a very reliable Windows 98SE hardware platform.  
All updates!  In fact, I've tried it on several hardware platforms.  
Windows XP was worse actually, however, with pretty much with the same 
results.  So... How do you make the Tutorials Work?  >.<

4. AirNav Suite:  The application never clears plotted aircraft fixes 
obtained from the Internet.  But it works well from Live data!  Do 
others experience this behavior?  >.<

5. AirNav Suite:  Frequently the live decoded data with position 
reports don't plot.  They are most certainly in range.  Should be on 
the map!  Yet, others do.  What might I being doing wrong?  
Occasionally, moving the cursor around in the immediate vicinity of the 
missing aircraft reveals a hidden, or invisible label.  >.<

6. AirNav Suite:  Scroll Bar Sliders malfunction all the time, in 
several windows.  Is this normal behavior?

7. AirNav Suite:  When the Map Window is being drawn - the Ticker is 
frequently seen cut into the bottom of this window, until the window is 
complete.  Freaky!  Is this normal behavior?

Before you ask!  The Video card is a GeForce 4.  Yes, the drivers are 
the latest, up to date!!

Frustrating!  Many more questions... lets stop here for now.  :o)
