Hi Hans,
that's indeed S/N 529. Here your source is right.
> 11:14 || D-AVZU =3D A321-111 (*2) || ME1977 =3D HAMBURG XFW -=20
> HAMBURG XFW
> (*2)=3DC/n 519, Ex HB-IOB, Source: idem
Here your source is wrong. Airbus has reserved a set of german
registrations for the new production airplanes, and this is
one of them:
D-AVZA..D-AVZZ A321
D-AVYA..D-AVYZ A319
D-AVWA..D-AVWZ A319
D-AVXA..D-AVXZ A321
D-AUAA..D-AUAZ A318
You won't find them on used planes. D-AVZU was indeed on HB-IOB
before it was delivered but that's a long time ago. D-AVZU is
carried now by brand new A321-231 S/N 1977, which is to be
delivered to Middle East Airways (hence the ME airline code)
as F-ORMI in a few days.
> 16:57 || D-AVZK =3D A321-131 (*3) || WS1970 =3D ???? - ????
Another false assumption:
This is A321-231 S/N 1970, soon to be delivered to Livingston
(an airline derived from Lauda Air Italy recently) as I-LIVB.
WS is the Airbus two letter code for GECAS, the lessor of the
plane.
Hope that helps
