In case of the 9V-SV. serie this is presumable for capacity reasons.

One exemple could be the (temporary?) dropping of SQ0035 /
6=CHICAGO>AMSTERDAM-SINGAPORE VV
what was normaly serviced by an a/c of the 9V-SV. serie

Unfortunately it has all to do with SARS I think. BTW: what is the regular
a/c type that is in service on your above mentioned flightid SQ0226=PERTH -
SINGAPORE?
