[ACARS] Just FYI, the long haulers are back on screen...

Hi all,
in January I was complaining that most of the regular Far East<->Europe 
flights had just disappeared from my ACARS screen here in the Baltic Sea 
area. I tried to spot them for some two weeks and they just weren't there 
any longer. Had been there earlier.
Now, thanks to my winter holiday I had time to try ACARS again and I am 
happy to see that they are back. All those BA, JAL, ANA, EVE, etc. planes 
appear on the screen again.
My setup is exactly the same as in January.

I wonder if any of you have heard any news that could explain this?
I also see that Finnair MD-11s have started to send their POS over ACARS. I 
do not remember seeing that earlier.
