Hi Nick,
I myself consider the update as very valuable, it is THE source
for me to know about changes of registrations of used and new
aircraft equipped with ACARS. So, the question is: what can be
done to convince those who ask about types and numbers where the=20
information could be found easily on your files?
=20
a.) Spoil the thing for all others and cancel the update
    alltogether.=20
b.) discipline them (where the "How?" remains to be seen)
c.) ignore them and their requests=20
d.) ignore their ignorance and give the information that
    they are requesting

As I am a "laissez faire" kind of guy I would tend to go for
solution d.), however I understand your frustration and would
call for everyone to check if something can be done about it,
especially those who ask for information on the list (I tend
to be more one of the givers of information on it). Nick, I
would like to ask you think about it, and please, do not
overreact. And finally please excuse my maybe inadequate use
of the english language, I had been a little bit out of=20
practise in recent times.

cheers
Matthias
