All,

Following is excerpted from an article in June 23 issue of Aviation Week
(P19)

"First KC-767As will be based at Fairchild Wash--there will be 32 of them at
Fairchild by 2006. $200M in new construction at Fairchild to house them.

Grand Forks ND will get 32 KC-767As by 2009 with $176M in new construction to
support them.

According to the article 60% of some of the ANG are already qualified on the
767 (from civilian life) will help ease the transition.

The first buy is for 100 tankers with expectations of another 100 aircraft
buy in 2005.

The KC-767A will have a 767-200 fuselage mlodified with a 767-400 digital
cockpit and 120-KVA power supply. Boeing's designation will be 767-200C. "

Anyone know if they will be ACARS-equipped?
