[ACARS] Air Canada A340 C-FTNQ update

Hi all,

Just spotted this on the magic screen:

ACARS mode: 2  Aircraft reg: .C-FTNQ

Flight id: AC7055

OK, so it's not exactly a "new" logging, however the flight number is
intersting; it's the one which I've normaly seen used for ACA Airbus
delivery flights. This is A340 c/n 088.

The story (according to "Aviation Letter", with due credit) is that this a/c
was scheduled to go on lease to BWIA, but BWIA have decided not to lease the
aircraft. The a/c is due for a major maintenance check and will remain with
ACA for another nine months.

Flytecomm, with due credit, gives the flight details thus:

Air Canada
Flight Number 7055
Departure City (Airport) London (EGLL)
Arrival City (Airport) Dublin (EIDW)

Heard him on VHF, on the descent, being handed over to Dublin Radar at
2125z.
