Looks as though Airtran Airways TRS/FL cs/CITRUS has begun testing on ACARS.  
Two a/c monitored here in South Central Kentucky at 1445 on 08/31/2003 on 
131.550:

N985AT /B712 cn55090
Flight #s were appearing as FL000
