Folks

Just a thought: I don't suppose BA know they are paying for these European
Airways charter flights - even if G-BDXG is unsure of his flight number or
arrival time!

And he really was on 136.925 as well!

This cost to BA was mitigated today when BA0286 had the MU set to 'W286'
rather than that being used as the suffix to 'BA' (to make 'BAW286' for the
H1 data). Wonder who paid for these messages?
As I understand it the flight number for 'H1' messages does not need to be
valid, but I assume the operator has to be identified (or is this how Excel
get away with 'XX' for 'H1' messages)? The progression of the messages means
that he was obviously getting a response

But then even the Germans don't always get it right - we had that Lufthansa
B744 with the registration set as GF00018. Now an LTU flight with an odd
number
