As far as I know Concordes cannot be fitted with ACARS: I read about 5 years
ago in Air Pictorial or some such that the old-style dial cockpit was just
too cramped already to take any more gadgets. I know that during the lay-off
after the AF Concorde crash that a lot of heavy maintenance work was done on
them, but I never read anywhere that they were to get an avionics upgrade
What was the message that lead you to suspect it was a Concorde?
That said, I have no thoughts about E70002
