Err, if you take a loot at www.acarsonline.co.uk you'll see that that's
exactly what I've done and I still consider the AirNav "discount" to be
somewhat insulting.
Yes, I agree with your comments re the "hourly rate", but if you annoy your
customers (and I've received plenty of emails from existing AirNav customers
to know that IS the case here), you lose them.
Finally, I don't think anyone is complaining at the cost of AirNav as such,
just that the discount is a bit of kick in the teeth for existing users.
Even Microsoft aren't that tight, and that IS saying something!

Perhaps those complaining about the price of radio software should try
writing their own to sell. They may find that the effective hourly wage
they receive is substantially less than working at McDonalds, however.
