[ACARS] Introduction/Questions

Hello list,
Having been lurking on the list for several weeks, I thought I`d better
introduce myself. My name is Allen Watkin, age 40, living
in Surrey,England.
been into aircraft since the early 70s, spotting at first, graduating to HF
listening/selcals( I am the moderator of the Selcalworld
e-group)...and progressing onto ACARS, and now HFDL.
My ACARS set-up is Signal R-532 plus Airmaster 2000,coupled with AirNav 3.1

I have been following the HFDL discussions over the last couple of weeks or
so-I downloaded the decoder from Elliots
website-and I have it running with my Yacht Boy, together with the aerial
that came with it (approx 30 ft wire)
I`m getting quite good results on Shanwick(8942/11384) and Reyjavik(11184),
but nothing else so far-presumably because
my equipment isn`t sensitive enough?
I`ve downloaded the frequency list from Black Cat-there seems to be a few
gaps,though
Anyone have a comprehensive list?
Also, when looking at the HFDL messages, they list the name of the station,
followed by "Active Freq" then a number.
What do these numbers translate to in actual frequencies?
Another question-I downloaded the "unsupported" version of the decoder-is
there a "supported" version anywhere?
