Hi Ted,
Yes, I have the same problem and confronted Andre about it and he somehow
believes it to be a MS Windows problem but I am not at all happy with that.
I ran a comparison of PCHFDL and Airnav on two different systems, one a 1.6
GHz P4 WinXP and the other (my dedicated decoding machine) a 300 MHz P2
Win98. I found that the transfer of DDE stuff, particularly the HFNPDU
performance reports were often skipped on the slower P2 but were fine on the
P4.
My feeling is that there is a minimum requiremnt specification for Airnav 4
and it lies somewhere between 300 MHz and 1.6 GHz in processor speed.
What speed is you PCs CPU?
Mike

Has anybody else got the problem that position reports from PC-HFDL seldom
automatically appear on the AirNav4 maps?
Any info or help would be much appreciated
