Hi Bart,

10065 was originally logged by me in New Zealand (nothing to do with
Australia - except that the aircraft flew there afterwards) and I posted
this to the list on 2 June followed a week later with confirmation that it
was a USAF Gulfstream V.

Subject: [ACARS] 01-0065 and other new US Military aircraft

Hi all,

Recently a new aircraft was logged in Australia, with registration 10065.
For me this was a new registration, on which I did some research. I came up
with the following additions to my list of military ACARS equipped aircraft.
The complete list can be found at
http://www.homepages.hetnet.nl/~hoekb03/military.html

00-0015 C-40B USAF N378BJ (Boeing 737-7DM)
01-0065 C-37A USAF
166375 C-37A US Navy
165832 C-40A US Navy
165833 C-40A US Navy
165834 C-40A US Navy

The USAF C-40B is a Boeing Business Jet, where the US Navy C-40A is a Boeing
737-7AF which is primarily a freighter aircraft, hence the different
designation. The USAF ordered 2 C-40Bs so far, the other one is c/n 33080,
reg N374BC at the moment (credit to Bill Harm's Commercial Jet Airliner
Census) Anyone logged one of the C-40Bs yet?

Gtx, Bart.
