Hi,

I had barely sent this message when I received emails clarifying the
situation with "TU-TAI". TC-OAB of Kyrgyz Airlines operated OHY745/746 into
and out of Dublin yesterday evening. This clearly is the new identity of
TU-TAI, whose Acars box needs to be reprogrammed.

Cheers,

Jacob

Subject: Old and new Onur Air Airbuses

A large number of messages was received on 131.725 from two Airbuses with
Onur Air connections:

437 messages received from "TC-OND" between 12:13 GMT and 17:04 GMT, all
with the same content:

ACARS mode: X Aircraft reg: .TC-OND
Message label: 80 Block id: 6 Msg. no: 1555
Flight id: TC0001
Message content:-

This is supposed to actually be Lotus Air's SU-LBA, ex TC-OND of Onur Air,
an A.320-211, c/n 0371. The flight number does look like an Onur Air flight
number.

Also received 62 messages from "TU-TAI" (between 18:17 and 20:30 GMT), again
all the same:

ACARS mode: 2 Aircraft reg: .TU-TAI
Message label: 80 Block id: 2 Msg. no: M11A
Flight id: RK0745
Message content:-

This is Air Afrique's A.300B4-605R, c/n 749, which was due to be delivered
to Onur Air. The flight number still looks like Air Afrique, but the Acars
box probably has not been reprogrammed yet.

To me this looks like it is possible that both aircraft are now flying for
Onur Air, and that they both operated flights into and out of Ireland
yesterday. During their time in Irish airspace they tried to unburden
themselves but no-one was listening...

Any comments?

Cheers,
