[ACARS] Airnav on NT4

Folks

Help appreciated!! I have a nice shiny new Dell laptop courtesy of work 
which I will be taking to the States on a business trip soon. Thought I'd 
try AirNav on it to save lugging my old Compaq 486 for Airmaster

AirNav loaded a treat: started up fine and instantly captured a message - 
and froze. Killed it and restarted it: same result - sees the message writes 
it to the log file but not the screen and then freezes

Anyone any circumventions?
