Hi all,
Some interesting flight numbers:
1) Aer Lingus use this type of flight number as R/T (voice) call signs,
but here it has been programmed on the Acars box. BTW, this was a rare
catch of an Aer Lingus A.321 on 131.725:
ACARS mode: X Aircraft reg: .EI-CPE
Message label: Q0 Block id: 3 Msg. no: S90A
Flight id: EI015J
-----------------------------------------------------------[20/01/2002
08:54]
2) I have not seen this type of flight number on Polar message before.
It looks like a charter flight for the U.S. military (Dover AFB to
Ramstein AB):
ACARS mode: E Aircraft reg: .N450PA
Message label: 80 Block id: 9 Msg. no: M79A
Flight id: POD01A
Message content:-
3A01 OPSCTL D01A/21 KDOV/ETAR .N450PA
REQUEST LATEST METAR FOR
ETAR THANKS MD
-----------------------------------------------------------[21/01/2002
12:03]
3) The correct flight number is in the first message, then it changes to
"SK605" on an H1 message. H1 messages do not require a correct flight
number:
ACARS mode: E Aircraft reg: .PH-MCI
Message label: 1L Block id: 5 Msg. no: M44A
Flight id: MP0605
Message content:-
00229209700EINN,CYYT,LPLA,TXKF
-----------------------------------------------------------[21/01/2002

ACARS mode: E Aircraft reg: .PH-MCI
Message label: H1 Block id: 9 Msg. no: D08A
Flight id: SK605
