[ACARS] Back on the List at last

Hi Everyone,

Mike Jackson is the name, some of you may remember me from a couple of =
years back.  I took leave from ACARS monitoring while I underwent a mid =
life crisis and also moved house.

I have set my gear up and now going full out although I am now living in =
the lower half of the North Island (a little town called Feilding) where =
ACARS traffic is a little on the light side.  I have been tinkering with =
my antenna setup and am now happy that I am receiving over a good =
distance.

In fact from my QTH (40 15 S 175 35 E) today I managed to pick up a =
Lufthansa Cargo flight 8400 enroute Auckland - Melbourne, some 239nm, =
happy with that!

My receiver is a lowly handheld Uniden UBC100XLT fed with a cheap =
discone.  Decoding software is AirNav via a sound card.

Anyway I would be happy to hear from all my old (and I don't mean aged!) =
colleagues especially those in Oceania.
