Hello All,

Just to inform you that Andre Brandao has had some problems
with his computers and his transfer from the USA back to
his home in Portugal.

He is also quite busy with converting his commercial Pilot
License he got in the States to meet the European rules.

This may not be an excuse for not answering the many questions
users may have asked him, but it's to give you an indication
as to why he hasn't responded.

I also know he's working hard on some new programs and is trying
to solve some major bugs in existing software.

I've also seen questions about getting updated databases for the
Airnav Suite program.

In the past it has been the users of this program that kept their
own databases up to date and were willingly sharing their databases
by sending some updated files to Andre Brandao who then made these
available to other users.
One user in particular who did this and was not taking any credit for
it was ERIC LANGHENDRIES who regrettely passed away in December of last
year.
However from the outset Airnav databases should be maintained and kept up to
date
by the users itself.
