[ACARS] zacars

Folks

Anyone out there willing and able to share thoughts about zacars. I have a 
new office laptop running Windows NT4 and that will not run Airmaster 2000 
(or V3!). Although it runs AirNav that locks on the first successful message 
(the message is written to disk and the application freezes: you can use 
Task manager to kill it and restart it, but that is a might tedious!)

I tried the evaluation copy of zacars with some success: it ran fine for 
about 18 hours and decoded more than Airmaster V3 when I split the signal 
from the scanner to two PCs. But there were quite a few misreads: and I have 
no idea what format the log file is in and whether it is compatible with 
dacars

But the demo mode has no facilities to set the system up better and all I 
could do was to twiddle the volume control

Any feedback most welcome: I am off to the States in about 2 weeks and have 
to take the office laptop for email etc. I don't really want to have to take 
another PC for ACARS logging!
